Turn It Up Tuesday!

Sorry that this week’s clips are links rather than embedded videos, but it was the only way I could share them with you here. They are by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I have a friend who goes to their show every year - it’s a holiday tradition. I have yet to see them in concert, but their live shows are supposedly spectacular. Maybe some year I will go…

Yeah, TSO always gets some rotation every year along with the old traditional stuff. I heard on the radio yesterday that TSO now holds the honor of selling more Christmas music than anyone else. Elvis is #2. That’s huge!
Ooooops, the Dog screwed up! I meant Mannheim Steamroller has sold more Christmas music than anyone else. I guess the fact that they both sound similar and you seem to only hear either one of them around the Holidays got me a little mixed up?
Or, maybe it was that holiday cheer I indulged in while listening to Mannheim and TSO last weekend! =:-0
They just came through Salt Lake City recently. I didn’t attend and the newspaper critic kind of savaged the show’s apparent pomposity. But that’s part of the show, mehtinks, part of its charm for ausdience members.
I was sort of hoping to see TSO this year. Holy crap! Couldn’t afford one of the tickets even way in the back. Oh well. Someday I will have a rich man in my life who will spoil me rotten with things like that. Know how I know I will? I asked Santa for one. And I’ve been good this year. Mostly.
Hi all. Haven’t had time to visit this month, but just wanted to say “Have a Merry holiday!” and stay safe, happy and healthy. Nice to see the snowflakes again, Stu. Can’t wait to get skiing!
Merry Christmas to you as well!
